The BD 6, is an outstanding single place homebuilt aircraft. It is an all metal, high wing aircraft that uses a tricycle landing gear. It can be made as a tail dragger. It has excellent performance with cruising speeds of 149 mph on just 48 hp. Takeoff and climb performance is outstanding. It incorporates a side stick control that permits smooth and precision control and feel. It is a small aircraft that is relatively easy to build.
